Ten Football Players Graduate in Fall Semester Ceremony at URI

Graduates gathered at the Ryan Center in Kingston, RI for the December 2024 ceremony – including a dozen URI football players.

Ten Players Graduate Mid-Year From The University of Rhode Island: December 2024

Coach Jim Fleming welcomed these recent graduates and former (!) URI football players after the mid-year ceremony for over 550 graduates at the Ryan Center in Kingston, RI. He congratulated each player for obtaining their Bachelor degrees and wished them a successful career as they move on to the next phase of their lives. These graduates are among the 24 seniors on the 2024 football team that compiled an historic 11 game win record against 3 losses. This team also was nationally ranked for the entire season in the top 25, reaching number 10 during mid season. A CAA banner will be raised in the fall of 2025 commemorating the first time a URI team has won a CAA championship.
