Devin Farrell on the scamper run - he rushed for 3 times for 29 yards but was sacked twice for a loss of 14 yards.

URI OL line did a good job overall protecting Devin - but when the receivers down the field were covered, Brown was able to shed blockers and pressure Farrell. Devin passed for 15 first downs!

A follow up pass into endzone from Farrell was beautifully placed and caught with one hand by the All American, Marquis Buchanan from Providence, RI - just up the street from tonight's game in Pawtucket, RI

Buchanan brings the ball in to his body as the Brown defender reached in to try to dislodge the pass.

It was a very physical game on both sides of the ball. Rohan Davy going low to make the stop while #53 is being pulled by the shirt, it happens more times than anyone can count. The competition is fierce. and any advantage is sought after.

URI #15 John Boyles comes in to finish the play...where did he come from? John ended the night with 3 solo tackles and 2 assists.

Brown QB James Murphy had a lot of time in the pocket this play, URI did sack him twice, but Murphy was able get outside the pocket and find his receivers down the field on several big plays.

A defensive pile up as the ball was out, but recovered by Brown. Brown did not turn the ball over. URI had 4 fumbles and lost two.

Punt returner Angel Sanchez with the runback. He returned 2 punts for 10 yards and 3 KO returns for 49 more yards with the longest 31 yards. Brown mostly called for fair catches.

RB Brendan Barrow on the option from Devin Farrell. Barrow picked up 13 yards on this play demonstrating his speed on the outside. He ended up with 3 carries for 25 yards.

The holds happen fast, arms get hooked, shirts grabbed, and even bear hugs around the middle. Yet no flag on this play! URI had 7 fouls for 62 yards, including two personal fouls that took place after the play was over, while Brown had 4 fouls for 21 yards.

#26 Davy and #35 Ethan McCann-Carter stop the Brown running back Matt Childs who finished with 64 yards on 22 carries including two touch downs.

Brown made a big effort to hold up URI players and then gang tackle while trying to dislodge the ball, it was a strategy that paid off, as RI had two fumbles after catches.

URI #26 = Rohan Davy LB led the team with 11 tackles including 1 sack. #53, Moses Meus was involved with six tackles, coming off a career high of 18 last week against Western Michigan.

Antwain Littlelton breaks a tackle on his way toward a 13 yard gain. He rushed for 60 yards and 38 yards receiving.

Greg Gaines lll with the catch and run. He ended the game with 5 catches for 87 yards, the longest 32.

The ball bounced through the endzone for a touch back, a big play for Brown as RI would have tied the score with a TD.
