The win over the NU Huskies gave everyone involved in the program a small measure of satisfaction knowing that this come from behind victory proved that the players were up to the challenge of being the best that they could be.  After falling behind early in the game by 14 points, the team finally ignited and responded to the calls of seniors to "get it done."  In the end, it was the hard nosed determination of the offense not to let the Huskies have a chance to win the game, the offense held on to the ball for the final five minutes of the game.  The proverbial "victory formation" was a great sight to see for the final play of the 2007 season. The game had many outstanding players, it was QB Derrick Cassidy who followed his blockers as he stiff handed a Husky defensive player to pick up a critical first down at the four minute mark..  Never in my memory do I recall the Rams winning two conference games in November, and these two wins were over rival Massachusetts' teams.   Going into this contest, the Rams were 2-8 (There was also the win over Brown in OT.)  As the photos below show, all of this was forgotten when the whistle blew and the men in blue took the field once last time, and proved who they really are.
