OK, what a great way to start the new year, doing the same thing that you were doing at the end of last year.  Fans, if you are missing these games, you are missing a great time.
Below are some of the terrific plays that Rhode Island players executed on their way to a
Rams win over Fairleigh Dickinson University, 94-63

Jimmy Baron led the Rams with 22 points in about 25 minutes of play. As the Rams pulled further and further ahead almost unnoticed went the fine effort of Manny Ubilla of Fairleigh Dickinson.  Ubilla set a Ryan Center record with 39 of his team's 63 points.  The Rams had five players in double figures.

Later in the game Delroy James added to the fireworks display on his way to a 10 point game.

Baron with a three in the first half.

Keith with the big smile and big dunk.  His coast to coast play off of a steal brought the middle age
crowd to life.  When the full student body gets back, the place will be rock'n.

No, not the same dunk, Keith had lots of fun tonight.  Great pictures too, thanks Keith.

Freshman Marquis Jones had five assists in 18 minutes.  He seems to be getting more and more playing time, taking on a lot of the load of ball handling.  As a freshman, Jones is also a fine defensive player with one steal against FDU.

Again, this is the kind of action you are seeing as the our RI Rams have now moved to #22 in the national polls.  Aside from the polls, the team is fun to watch.  The effort that they gave last year in Atlantic City continues this year.
